Shiraka Ltd are now recruiting for an Experience Nursery Deputy manager to join a private Nursery Setting in Stockwell, SW9.  This is a full time role working 40 hours a week.

This 30+ place Nursery is conveniently located for easy access via public transport and there is also parking available.  This is a great opportunity to join a Nursery that can offer great training with a very professional and friendly team.   If you are an experienced Nursery room Leader and looking for the next step in your Childcare career, then this could be a great opportunity for you.

As a Nursery Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery manager on the Day to day running of the setting, including standing in for the manager and opening and closing the setting at time.  

Nursery Deputy Manager requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience
• Previous senior or Deputy experience in a Nursery Setting
• Minimum Level 3 early years qualification or equivalent
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS
• Empathetic, caring and friendly
• Experience of SEND
• Managing budgets, invoicing and payroll

Nursery Deputy Manager Duties:

• To oversee the efficient and safe running of the allocated Base Room
• To assist in coordinating rotas
• To maintain staff:child ratios at all times
• To contribute to the induction process for new and promoted staff
• To develop strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, children
