Shiraka Ltd is now working with a children's nursery in the Clapham area, to recruit a deputy Deputy Nursery Manager for their 70+ place setting.  This is mainly an office based role, and as the Nursery Deputy manager you will also provide cover in one of the rooms if needed.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week and shifts are per rota. The opening hours are 730-1800. This is really a great opportunity to join a growing Group of Nurseries that invest in their staff and offer continuous development.

Whether you are an experienced Deputy Manager or currently working as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Nurse and looking to step up into a Nursery deputy manager position, then you could be the ideal candidate we are looking for.

Nursery Deputy Manager requirements:

• Minimum 1 years’ post qualification experience
• Previous Room Leader or Nursery Deputy experience 
• Minimum Level 3 early years qualification or equivalent
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS
• Empathetic, caring and friendly
• Experience of SEND
• Managing budgets, invoicing and payroll

Nursery Deputy Manager Duties:

• To oversee the efficient and safe running of the Rooms
• To assist in coordinating rotas
• To maintain staff:child ratios at all times
• To contribute to the induction process for new and promoted staff
• To develop strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, children
