Nursery Room Leader

Shiraka Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a well established 4 room Nursery in Clapham in the toddler room.

This is a great opportunity to join a Nursery full of friendly staff with a capacity for about 50 children. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Level 3 Early years qualification and at least 12 months experience as a Senior Nursery Nurse or Nursery Room Leader in a similar role

If you have an enthusiastic and positive attitude along with excellent communication and written skills, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and staff, then this may be the right opportunity for you.

Room Leader Skills/Qualifications:

• Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Childcare Qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ post qualification
• Relevant childcare qualifications in accordance with OFSTED guidelines
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS
• Empathetic, caring and friendly
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude
• Patient
• Proven supervisory and coaching experience
